Currently we are knee deep in the preparations of our "Easter in a box".
This box is full of Swedish Easter foods and treats. 

Some of you might know us from our previous box "Christmas in a box" which was a box full to the rim of Swedish meatballs, Jansson's temptation, christmas ham, different pickled herrings, sauces, condiments and so many more Swedish delicacies. What a feast.

So here we go....

A fast version of a Swedish Strawberry Cake!  Here is a tip on how to make little individual strawberry cake cups.   It is easy, simple and a good presentation. Clean and cut strawberries. Either bake or use a store bought shortcake or poundcake.  Cut the cake into 1/2" thick  layers (horizontally).  Use any kind of cookie cutter and cut out little shapes of the cake.  Whip some heavy cream and either put it into a piping bag (or a plastic bag that you roll into a cone and cut the tip off of).  Alternate cream, cake and some strawberry jam or strawberry sauce.  Decorate with the cut strawberries.
